Hi. Live in Hamilton, don’t have a boat and don’t have enough money to try one of the fishing expeditions. Where can I take my boys to do some fishing? Your article mentioned the Raglan wharf and jetty. Are there other similar spots we can try? Thanks

It is a tidal ramp. I seem to recall I’ve seen people fishing there at times.

I would like to launch a 14ft Tinnie at Te Akau and wondered if you could give me a headsup on whether it is a tidal ramp or all tides and I tow the boat with a car so is it suitable for that or does it require a four wheel drive.
Is this same spot good for surf casting as well.
Any information would be greatly appreciated
