Counselling Service
Raglan Community House offers the only non denominational, low/no cost counselling service in Raglan. Click here for a full Information Sheet. All aspects of counselling work are covered from family violence, sexual violence, families under stress, vulnerable, at risk, young people, elder abuse, relationship difficulties and emotional or social problems. Counselling can prevent difficulties from escalating into crisis and can equip individuals or families with the skills needed to address and resolve issues and weather hardships. The Counsellors contracted to Raglan Community House are qualified, experienced and full members of their professional body (NZAC). They work with families and individual clients and can refer clients to other agencies as necessary.
Our Counsellors
Paula Clements: (Diploma in Counselling, Certificate in Supervision, Certificate in Education, Certificate in Psychodrama
Marrie Daniels: Bachelor of Applied Social Scients (Counselling), Advanced Certificate in Alcohol and Drug Studies, Member NZ Assn of Counsellors
Rachel Upston (B. Social Science Counselling). As well as being contracted to Raglan Community House Rachel runs a private practice here in Raglan. Rachel’s main counselling approaches are person centered, cognitive behavioral therapy and creative approaches.
All our counsellors are full members of the New Zealand Association of Counsellors.
