History
In July 1987 Health and Church groups called a public meeting to develop the idea of a Community House to provide services for the people of Raglan.  A Committee was formed and a Centre was opened in rented premises staffed by Volunteers.  In 1990 a fulltime Coordinator was employed to enable the House to be professionally managed and then in July 1991, after four years of fundraising, planning and construction, Raglan Community House at 45 Bow St was opened.
