$30,000 waiting to be caught

The big fishing tournament is coming to Raglan from February 18-20.   With $30,000 in prizes in the Buccaneer Boats One Base Tournament, anglers will be after marlin, tuna, albacore, kingfish, snapper, trevalli and kahawai.  Boaties can leave from inside the harbour or from the Manu Bay boat ramp but must be back before 5pm.   It is expected that some boaties will head 100km off the West Coast.

The tournament is organised by the Waikato Sport Fishing Club.  Registrations will be taken at the Raglan Club in Bow St, Raglan on the 17th Feb, between 5pm and 7pm, prior to the briefing.  The entry fee is $55 per angler and they must be affiliated to the NZ Sport Fishing Club.  For more information contact Bob Gudsell on 021 750 562 oe email president@waikatosportfishing.co.nz
